Indigenous Fact of the Day: Canada apologized for the abuses of the Residential Schools in 2008. A  commission was established to hear about how the schools operated and the many terrible things that happened at them. Its report, released this year, has 64 Calls to Action to improve the condition of Indigenous people in Canada.

The Knitting Club will meet today at lunch in the art room. New members are always welcome.

A big congratulations to coach Peyton Chinnery and the Junior Boys Volleyball team on their fantastic season. The team capped off their season yesterday winning all of their EOSSAA games claiming victory over Perth High School in the final gold medal game. Great work Knights!!!

The junior football team heads to Richardson Stadium Saturday, November 17th at noon in the consolation final against the Bayridge Blazers.

 There is an important meeting of the junior football team in the Little Theatre at the start of lunch today. All members are expected to attend.

Senior students are reminded that November 20th Laurentian University will be here at 12:30 p.m. and Nipissing University at 11:30 a.m.  Remember to sign up in Student Services if you plan to attend any of these sessions.  

Queen's University is holding its annual "Degree for a Day" on Friday, November 23rd, 2018 for students in grades 11-12 Experience a day in the life of a post-secondary student with activities throughout the day and also interacting with current post-secondary students during our student advice panel!
